I'm having the same issue I get about 2% drain per hour on standby, msm hsic host appears to be awake 1/3 of the time and prevents it from going to deep sleep. This is on the tmobile c6606 and has wifi calling (not sure if this causes it to stay awake). This is my first phone with this type of resolution and FHD screen, bear with me.
In the previous phones (Galaxy S3, Note II, iPhone 5), I haven't experienced a battery drain of 10% while it is in standby mode. I was hoping that maybe the battery just needed to settle in, but the past few days where I've charged it to 100%, went to sleep and woke up, I found it at 90%.
Is this normal? Has anyone else been experiencing this? Stamina mode is on, so Wifi, data, etc. is all turned off.
2% is to much.I get around 1% or bit less on standby.I'm having the same issue I get about 2% drain per hour on standby, msm hsic host appears to be awake 1/3 of the time and prevents it from going to deep sleep. wifi has some really bad hsic_msm_host wake lock when wifi is turned on that will keep the phone awake. Is there is any rom or update that will fix this? This is my first phone with this type of resolution and FHD screen, bear with me.

what rom you are using, kernel and settings?wifi has some really bad hsic_msm_host wake lock when wifi is turned on that will keep the phone awake. Is there is any rom or update that will fix this?
The on screen time is also terrible. Even with brightness scaled down and max cpu set at 810mhz, gpu at 200mhz it drains something like 1% for 2 min of screen on time. I don't game so this is just browsing the internet.
I've have all google backup disabled, no chrome, no google now. I have tried all roms and default kernels on the roms, existenz 1-3.5, tmobile default 4.1.2 and 4.2.2what rom you are using, kernel and settings?
post a picture of your battery life along with screen shot of wakelock detector how much time it uses( hsic_msm_host) on lets say few hours?il compare with mine and see .I've have all google backup disabled, no chrome, no google now. I have tried all roms and default kernels on the roms, existenz 1-3.5, tmobile default 4.1.2 and 4.2.2
I just found out something, by disabling the sony wifi direct apk my wake locks are much less. Will test more
You cannot undervolt because your bootloader is locked. You are currently using the Stock .292 Kernel which does not permit undervolting.Hi I have a locked bootloader, using existenz ultimate 3.5 rom is there an app or setting or build prop edit I can do to undervolt? Nice! But the battery calibration thing is placebo: all it does is deleting "batterystats.bin" from the system in order to "reset the battery".My Xperia Z battery is awesome, after removing play store and google play service and other bloatware. Then Used "advanced battery calibrator " and "repair battery life " app to callibrate battery.
Got 6 hour+ on screen time(3hour internet browsing with 3g data , 3hour+ watching 720p movie with mx player).Have not got 4.30hour before.Without Undervolt, on locked bootloader and stock 283 indian firmware.
whats the negative thing when removing play store?(besides not being able to download stuff from it) ?.Nice! But the battery calibration thing is placebo: all it does is deleting "batterystats.bin" from the system in order to "reset the battery".
But since jellybean, android deletes that file at 100% charge itself so it is not needed to calibrate anymore.
Removing the play store will make a big difference.
Good to hear ur enjoying and thanks for sharing bro
especially what if you have loots of paid app and you want to get latest versions without playing with copy-paste from other sites. Maybe its nice for people who get cracked apps, but what about others?whats the negative thing when removing play store?(besides not being able to download stuff from it) ?.
