No connect/disconnect issue solved by disabling QC (15W max). Deep sleep works after charger disconnect.

With CrDroid (A11) I try to flash Sleepy Miui kernel.
But everytime I got a "failed" error, without mentioning what is wrong.

Inside Twrp log I can see the sequence "Installing zip file ...." and "Error installing zip file ...."
(disabled zip signature verification and enabled skip digest check)
Also I see only slot A and can't see slot B

I did remove root, by flashing the unpatched stock boot.img before flashing Sleepy.
So imho it looks something isn't compatible with crDroid (v7.16) or Twrp (v3.6.2).
Inside the zip there is dbt.img and dbto.img, but no boot.img, so can't flash the images directly

Could it be something with Magisk or RMcrypt decryption?
Can someone give a direction how to handle further?

Update:
I have tried to flash the kernel with kernelflasher too.
But still no luck, because the "flash" button and some other buttons are missing for slot A and B
The reason looks a missing (not seen by kernelflasher) vendor_dlkm partition.

Imho only with an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery like Twrp or OrangeFox you can flash the Miui version of it.

I''m not a developer, just user. All depends on source code availability of kernel and PMIC (charging IC LN8000).

I dunno exactly
But it's easy to try
Only backup boot and dtbo and if necessary you can restore both

It wasn't working then i installed Magisk rooted my device now Fast charge seems to be working Thanks. I hope battery backup is good on Sleepy kernel. It was very poor on default kernel. @Laptapper

I am on pixel OS A12 and flashed it yesterday:

1. Super battery duration
2. Minimal 'freezing' or slowdown when device is waking up from deep sleep.

For me all kernels with every A13 ROM are slower in charging as the stock A12.
But the other pros are much more important for me, so I'll stay on A13 oss

The last Sleepy-Kernel (from 1th january) is amazing. I use it with CherisOS 4.2 and its really awesome.

- DeepSleep working correctly
- Really low power drain
- FastCharging works fine
- Everything working really smooth
