Always giving a maximum informations :
- LineageOS version ?
- LineageOS installed clean flash or dirty flash
- MIUI Base (Stable EEA ? CN ? Global ?)
- Security used (Fingerprint, PIN, Face Unlock, etc...)
- Root or Unrooted ?
> If Rooted, Magisk Stable or Canary ?
>Modules / Tweaks installed ?
The problem has gone, was probably something to do with an app I was using.

Though, I have a new question. Would it be possible to remove all Google apps and services and use micro g instead after install?

Thanks

Hello there, I wanted to ask for an advise. I've got a problem with bluetooth speakers, when I connect them with my Mi11. The phone speaker switches to the connected speaker like it should and often times it works for a few minutes. But with my wf-1000xm3 it randomly switches to phone speakers. If I switch it over the volume menu it still uses the phone speaker. Only if I turn the headphones off and on it connects again. If I'm using it in my car, the audio switches from media to the telephone mode, it even shows that Im talking on phone with the number 10000. On the phone on the other hand it shows nothing of that. I can't quit the "call". Changing the audio output doesn't solve the problem either. Volume changer shows most of the time the telephone sign, like Im currently talking.

Problem appears while using Spotify or YouTube Vanced. LOS 18.1-20211019
Found the problem: It was the Alibaba App, uninstalled it and the problem is gone.

Hello!

I noticed Ethernet over USB doesn't work reliably. It seems to be detected though based on the blinking of the port's indicators.

I tested with two different network adapters during service initialization phase (Google account setup). In comparison, neighboring DerpFest ROM did support it, however this one is certainly more responsive and lean.

May it be considered a bug, or a missing feature? (Settings items are available)

Amazing Rom !
Battery life is fantastic

Small bug. If I put the volume onto silent I still receive audible notifications.

To flash a newer version of the Rom is it ok to just download to phone and dirty flash or the ADB method for every update

I think the rom is no longer maintained, which is a shame!

There is also a bug where apps like facebook do not properly handle the multiple microphones on the device. On speakerphone people can barely hear you and only hear themselves.

Is anyone else unable to install this after recent A12 MIUI? I was on A12, tried weekly and stable, then flashed the latest weekly Miui 12 (Fastboot + wipe), and one from august (also Fastboot + wipe), but when flashing LOS or Derp ROM, it just hangs then reboots on the first boot and never successfully boots. It doesn't show the ROM boot animation at all, just the MIUI splash image.

I spent an entire day flashing all sorts of ROMs, trying the bundled boot.img, flashing to slot A and slot B to no avail. No matter what I could not get this ROM to boot. I'd obviously selected the wipe option when flashing the A12 MIUI builds from Fastboot. Flashing the really old MIUI 12 (TWRP builds) always failed and told me that certain partitions were unable to be mounted, system etc. No system partitions showed up in TWRP in the format menu. I had also done a format of all data at this point, including internal storage.

I'm very confused as I thought it was just a case of flashing an Android 11 MIUI build and wiping data, and then following the instructions in the OP. Can someone help please?

You need to flash the rom from Lineage recovery, not twrp! Follow instructions on the Derpfest rom.

Read my post properly. I said there are old MIUI 12 ROMs which are flashed via TWRP. I was referring to these. I did flash LOS/Derp via ADB. I used Derp from when it was released till the start of Jan.

Simply your base/source is not good, you must install from MiFlash the lastest "stable" CN MIUI A11 version not weekly, after follow the guide and no bootloop ;)

From a A12, you must before flashing downgrade (A12 -> A11) because of Anti-Rolling Back from Xiaomi...
1/ flash LOS recovery and format/wipe data.
2/ MiFlash -> Flash the lastest CN MIUI A11
3/ flash LOS recovery and format/wipe data.
4/ flash the lastest LOS ROM
5/ It's done !

If you want root, flash magisk same like the LOS ROM by adb sideload after the first configuration/boot rom.

Thanks very much buddy I had this idea and messed up and bricked my device, but have recovered it now 😂. Also I edited the script to ignore the anti-rollback protection and all seems to be good. Thank you for the help :)

    LineageOS 18.1 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    *
    * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
    * cause of male impotence.
    */

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    The source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features

    Installing
    0. Enter fastboot
    1. Fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img
    2. Hold power button and volume up button to reboot into recovery
    3. Install the rom from recovery by using adb sideload
    4. Reboot

    Known bugs for the moment
    1.Fod
    2.Notification sounds are borked

    Hello. I'm the dev of this ROM. I decided not to post it officially on XDA since Telegram is a much easier platform to use and manage.

    The last few updates have the following changelog:
    * implemented screen off fod
    * fixed mtp
    * added com.android.camera to auxiliary camera whitelist
    * patched ANXCamera zip to provide missing libraries
    * optimized handling of touchscreen spi transfers
    * synced with latest LineageOS sources

    All builds can be downloaded from the following Google Drive folder.

    I have also provided a patched version of ANXCamera in the same Google Drive folder.
