Hello all,
I have a friend with a pixel 6 PRO that managed to get VoLTE and WoWifi working using the procedure detailed here:
forum.xda-developers.com
and here:
github.com
It worked in 5 minutes, no root required, and got me thinking, would such a way work for me and my trusty Xpreia 5III?
I even got to trying it out, The VoLTE and VoWifi toggles appeared in my menu (pretty much what VOEnabler does but without root), so that part works, but IMS registration did not go through.
From browsing the source code on GitHUB I think that we just need slight modifications to the source code in order to adress our specific modem configuration files.
If anyone with a rooted 5 III or 1 III, and basic knowledge of Java wants to try, I think it would be an interesting project
Cheers!
