I got the samsung galaxy s6 from AT&T as 'Basically new', which means someone got the phone, just didn't want it and sent it back. Nothing is wrong with it they just didn't want it. Anyway, I want to root this phone but I cant because its on LRX22G.G920AUCU2AOF3 android 5.0.2. Should I send this phone back and get a brand new one or should I stick to this one and wait for a root? Right now i'm not using the phone because I kind of need root to do certain things on it and i don't really want to live without them for a long time. So should I keep it or should I return and get a new one?
Edit: I didn't clarify that I was wondering do you think getting a brand new phone would have a lower version than this basicly new one, so i can get root because the version before is supported.
