Should I Wipe battery Stats?

I notice in the CWM recovery menu under advanced there is an option wipe battery stats. Is it recommended to wipe battery stats upon new rom/kernel flash?

I never done it before, but last night i was on the play store looking at battery calibration apps, reading the description, and basically what they do is wipe battery stats so the old stats from the old rom/kernel don't stay.

Do you guys do it? Thanks!

I don't wipe stats because is an extra step and don't find it useful at all

yes i know it does not improve battery life... but what is the point of battery calibration then? because that's all it does, is delete the old battery stats the older rom/kernel had...

true on the extra step part, but it takes no 20 seconds at most.

your phone automatically wipes batterystats.bin every time you unplug the phone from the charger. "battery calibration" is not only a myth, its a waste of time and does absolutely nothing beneficial for battery life
