Should us leakers update?

I'm just wondering if there is a consensus amongst the devs, should those of us that installed the leak wait on installing the final 2.1 OTA?

Or is there a lot of work done with the leaked 2.1 at this point?

I upgraded that day and have only regretted it a little since root...I'm very excited that there seems to be a final 2.1 rom but don't want to further hurt my chances of rooting this thing (not a vzw cust/no insurance so...I'm glad I like this phone haha!)

Input appreciated from other users/devs!

Until I get some feedback I'm going to wait and see on this one...

I've been using the Leak2 version for a couple hours now, and I've gotta say it's leaps and bounds superior to Leak1. There are probably no fewer leads in Leak2 than Leak1 (kernel / bootloader version are the same), so my vote is: go for it, and don't look back. Leak1 was kind of a pile.

Bit the Bullet

I bit the bullet. I might be a glutton for punishment, but I heard a lot of good things and couldn't help it!

I will say that I haven't seen a speed boost at all. Transitions actually seem a little bit slower to me. Anybody else see this?

Anyway, I'll keep with it. If it bugs me I'll try the good old format-sd-and-reinstall method, I hear that helps :)

Here's hoping we get that root!

I was noticing the transition speed as well. It does seem to be slower.
