Thread should be deleted for fact that its misleading as the m8 has not been released yet. In fact, posting screen shots of your m7 with sense 6 in a "show off your m8 wallpaper" thread. Let's stop the "I gotta be first" junk.

So can I understand from your post that the new M8 is dpi friendly?

How are default apps behaving? Phone book? SMS? EMAIL? Contacts? etc...


My current one. Not finished setting up yet though.



How did you manage to change the DPI? I thought /system was RW locked.

Yes system is RW locked. But I flashed custom recovery (TWRP) and used the file manager to delete the original file and replace with my copy edited with the modified dpi setting.

The M8 is somewhat dpi friendly but only to about 400dpi, after this the apps such as launcher and phone show white spaces or are misaligned to the left.

IMO, for such small screen, you won't need less than 400!
On my LG G2 I use 420 and it looks great!
