Hey, this looks great! Nice combo of google play and sense. Looks like you are running HTC calendar as by the widget and also HTC internet? Can you share how you got other HTC apps working on GPE? Last time I ran a GPE rom, I headed to the Sense 7 apps thread, but was not successful getting those apks installed. And that was running with Sense firmware and hoot so I had enough space in system.

For usig flat style u should install Xtended and Xposed framework, to have that u also should be on Stock rom, by the way i have Viper and it has some problem working with Xposed
