The 'Android Development' section for the Galaxy Blaze looks sad :(

Go take a look yourself.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1559

I understand developers are EXTREMELY BUSY people and the Blaze is somewhat new. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone promise me they'll try to drop a ROM for the Blaze..that would be comforting enough..

*Posted in Galaxy S II forum because this will sadly never be noticed in the Blaze forum*

Yeah I understand 100%. But the only way we'll get something for the Blaze would be to reach out and get it out there which I figured I can try to do.

@Racing19969 sure thing man, anything basic is welcome, as long as its better than stock..im sure that theres a lot of people out there with the Blaze, who just want "something" you know...

Oh and the reason why i switched from an S2 was because the small size of the Blaze is awesome and it gets the job done, packin the same proccessor as the S2. It was a matter of PREFERENCE, so don't tell me the S2 was the better phone..cuz even my baby niece knows that.

Get a bounty going for a dev who would be willing to work on it. Biggest challenge will be finding a dev.

I'll see what happens..maybe I should wait it out for a little before coming after some, already, busy developers. Hopefully one of these days the first custom ROM for the Blaze will suprisingly show up in the thread :)

If it has the exact same hardware then flash a GSII gingerbread ROM..

Check all specs and make sure you have insurance...

My guess it the ROM may boot, but you will have bootloops only because of framework and the android.policy jar file

Id swap out vold for sure because the device emmc is different then ours as its smaller (according to what google tells me). otherwise flashing one of our roms could very well brick them.

I agree maybe a bounty of some kind for a Dev to do work. The real problem is its a similar device but has less internal memory, not as good of a front or rear camera, no nfc, smaller battery.. ect.. ect..

With a similar price tag i am not sure why youd buy the Blaze anyways..

so what your saying is, its pretty much a completely different device then lol.

Flashing a rom for our devices to this device will not yield good results im betting.
