Shuffle/Repeat

I'm just trying to see if anyone else can recreate this problem so I'll know if it's all of us or if it's just my phone.

I'm on stock with wifi calling update and no root.

Go to your music player and turn on shuffle and repeat.
Now restart your phone.
Does your shuffle and repeat stay on?

Mine goes off after every restart.
I've never had that problem before on the MT4G.
So I'm wondering if it's a software defect or that's just how the Amaze works.

Thanks. Just trying to confirm that it wasn't just me or that my phone had a defect.
Come to think of it...I'm gonna try this on my sister's phone when she comes over.
I don't know why I didn't think of doing that first.

I've checked with 3 devices - 1 quiksense 3.0.0 and 2 stock, they were stay on after restart. So its working with my device.

Ugh...that's not comforting news.
If I try with my sister's phone and it doesn't do it I'm calling in for an exchange.
Do you think it has anything to do with my SD card?

I think you should also file a lawsuit against Htc for the stress this might have caused you

Well I just had my sister restart her phone and see if her "repeat and shuffle" stayed on.
It did. So I'm just going to call in for an exchange.
Right after I do a factory reset and see if it still does it.

I mean the whole "not keeping settings" also affects my ringtone.
When I restart my phone I always have to set my ringtone again.
