signal shows "H" metropcs guy told me that means only 2-3g speeds ?

hey folks, well i use my phone presently with metropcs - my signal shows an "H" which today the metropcs guy told me indicated slower speeds, not even 4g. i didn't expect to get lte, but i'd think i could at least get 4g. my apn settings are correct according to the aforementioned fellow - anyone have any thoughts/advice?

Afaik, this phone is not 4g. Hspa+ is the max speed you can get

H is normal on pre 4G/LTE devices and in areas where there is no 4G/LTE coverage. There are mods that can change that to show a 4G or LTE, but you won't get those speeds. We have HSPA (or something like that) on our device.

Just read up a bit on hspa, seems plenty fast - must be the poor signal in my area I guess.

One thing. The ics leak rom has a 4g icon replacing H and H+
That might get confusing as hell
H+ should give you around 14mbps. More than enough for mobile access...

one other question - for any of you using t-mobile or metropcs, can you tell me what kinda speeds you're getting? thanks
