Signal Strength

Please can someone tell me if the signal strength is any better on the Touch Pro 2 than it was on the original Touch Pro.

I am seriously thinking of getting a Pro 2 as I am due my upgrade but my original Pro was [email protected] at pulling a signal on T-Mobile yet when I put my SIM into my N95 I got almost full signal all the time.

My Pro had been sent back to HTC twice and no fault found.

I read your post and was curious as I have crap signal in my house.

I don't have a TP to compare with, but I stuck a Voda sim in my HD and used my laptop BB to compare...

TP2: 3 bars
HD: 2-3 bars
Dell laptop integrated BB: 2 bars

So no problems

hmm well i guess it may be a tad better if anything but nt enough to really rave about. i get 2 bars wher ei live and i was tpically at 1 bar with the original TP.

Nah, Signal is crap on Tp2 too =D
I barely have any signal, where I get full signal with Sony Erricson c905..

The signal is not particularly better than the Raphael, especially for those of us on the lower frequencies (Orange and Tmob) however you can buy signal boosters that improve things slightly .......

hopefully once we have HardSPL sorted, we'll be able to start playing with other radio stacks to improve things further.
