My brother has been offered a sensation XE as an upgrade. I told him that the senseation phones experienced big signal fluctuation that made me sell mine and replace with the galaxy s2.

Did this ever get resolved or is the signal issues still a problem?

Hi,

Signal is largely dependent on the radio/ril combination you have on your phone, and your location.
If you are experiencing difficulties, post your problems on THIS THREAD

If you're talking about stock phones, yes it is still a problem depending on network coverage in your area. For example, I'm in a rural setting and I use O2, I can be in my front room and see 3 signal bars, then moments later I may lose the signal completely. I know that the signal will likely reconnect, but it is rather annoying not being sure if you do have a signal. My son's GSII doesn't have this issue.

If you're in a location with a strong signal, you're unlikely to experience this problem.
