Hello,
I have an unlocked Sensation 4G. Its been working perfectly on the Bell Mobility network (was originally locked to Bell).
I am selling this phone as "unlocked" so I decided to double check that another sim would work before I potentially embarrass myself in front of the buyer.
I threw in my wifes Rogers Sim and it was detected (i.e. there was no indication of "no sim") however there were no bars and I couldnt search or register on any network.
I re-seated the sim a few times and rebooted a few times...then while searching for a resolution on xda, all of a sudden I hear a text come in and there was full bars..etc.
My question is: does it just take some time to register on certain networks for the first time, i.e. is this delay normal?
In the event this happens when I sell the phone, does rebooting actually help? or is it just the matter of letting the phone sit for x amount of time to search and setup APN's etc?
Thanks!
