Sim free in the UK?

Well just called o2 and 3 and both of their pay and go ones are locked to their network...

Carphone warehouse is not stocking them.. And phones 4 u only have vodaphone

Anyone know where I can walk into a shop in the UK and buy this phone sim free
without contract? And hopefully unbranded

I know you can get them online but I just like the idea of walking into a shop if I have a problem and not having to mess around with online stores

bought handset only on vodafone

they say its locked , but 3 different sims worked for me..
i guess its just branded
