Here's a photo comparison of the Sirui Portrait Lens, Portrait Mode, and a regular photo. All three subjects were taken in the order mentioned. What do you think?
What I take out of this is:
The portrait lens seems just as sharp, has a slightly less but more natural looking bokeh (background blur) than the artificial portrait mode, and a tighter, cropped background.
Portrait mode bokeh has the most blur but can be too artificial looking depending on the subject (these all turned out pretty well) and more background capture.
Regular photo is just there for reference.
