This is a full port of the new Tachi_Phone_Canvas_Knop_v2d in a FULL BLACK CANVAS.

My effort was to keep the Tachi Dialer as true as possible to the original theme, but Canvas it in Black.

The Canvas is currently updated to Rev. 2. I've relocated my skin to this thread entirely.

The Canvas was updated to Rev.2 due to issues with the call log buttons (the original white version too). It also removes the GPS icon. Rev.2 Fixes the call log issue by replacing the call log buttons with slightly older versions. The GPS icon was removed by updating with a new BMP. Blue Theme?

Would be nice to get a blue themed skin. Or maybe just the stock tachi dialer with a nice dark blue highlight instead of the ugly green? That would be perfect! All black and dark skins are just too much when using ur phone mostly during the day in the sun, too hard to dial out. Looks nice at night though.

Hmmm...I don't see it...what does it look like?

It's a circle with a cross, you have to edit one bmp file to remove it (sorry, don't remember the name).

so am i right in saying that to skin the dialer, you have to install the whole package again. you cant just copy the files into the wondows folder like the previous dialer??

And if that is the case, i just replace the files in the cabs provided here for example and install again, even though the dialer is built into the rom? any help appreciated as i want to make a skin, but screwed up the dialer by just copying the files into the windows folder.

problem with caller pictures

i installed the tachi dialer a few days ago and so far working ok. except that if i go to my contacts and let say i want to add picture or change the current contact picture it wont let me.(it will open the menu where it say from file or camera etc..) but when i click on from file it goes back to the edit contact screen and nothing and it wont open the photo album.is there any fix ???does anyone know.

Just tried Peaster Black Skin rev.2 and I still have a problme with the In-Call Screen. The phone number is partially blacked out and the Thumbnail is not working. Any fixes?

I'm running Stock Original Fuze Rom and Xbmod TF3d2 vd.

It's not an issue with the skin, only with the Tachi PhoneCanvas. There are no fixes still, but I recommend you to update your ROM. It's possible that some of your Manila packages are old and thus you have this problem.

I can tell you that for example the ROM which I am using has no problems with the Canvas.

Smart dialing highlight colour

Does anyone know how to change the colour that highlights the text/numbers when smart dialing. It is green even in the blue theme. I dont mean the large box (thats easy to change) i mean the highlight that progresses along us you type. i want to change it to blue. The rest of windows is blue just this thats green. I am using it on a 6.5 rom. Anyone else have this?

i think you have to change the reg settings for:
