In my attempts to restore my mom's phone, I keep running into the, "This device has been reset, insert the old e-mail." message. Now normally, this would be fine, but the phone seems to be overheating so bad, it causing the thing to reset before I get it done.

So the question is simple, is there way to get pass the google setup part (the thing I've been able to do before with my previous s3 and note 3, and just go to the part where it turns back into a phone.

I while back I read somewhere, maybe here at xda not sure, that someone came up with a way to skip the Google lock. Of I can find it I will provide a link but it will be about a week or so before I can really dig into it. Try googling it bud.
