I just installed it, works perfect thank you! Just make sure you have sdkcerts installed.

on Itjes V4.5...

The Signal icon kinda mess up...start icon (SE) not showing...just pure black...

2- Itje uses a taskbar icons set (batt, signal), don't think it's gonna be compatible but I can cook something for you over itje's shellres.192.dll, can you get me the file ??

I'm having technical problems with my laptop, some files messed up, dunno which one it was, I have to figure it all out again...

In the meantime can you post the DLL I repacked for you, to share with others ??
It works, I tested ity on Itje's 4.5

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 inspired SEX1cons "Q" series

WORKS & RELEASE DATES
- My second attempt building a taskbar, inspired by tsowens work, using FInixNOver tutorials and based on carneros beautiful squared icons, plus the world signal from HTCLeener and more than 15 new icons on a matching pattern
21 feb 2009: "Q" series SEX1cons Version 1.0
- Completely new, built from the ground mostly using Xperia X1 original system files from WWEnglish ROM UK R2A to avoid troublesome Diamond VGA DLLs
- List of cooked system files source:
* From Xperia X1: outres.192.dll, tapres.192.dll, tshres.192.dll, notify.dll.0409.mui, phcanOverbmp.dll, shellres.192.dll
* From other sources: HTCVolumecontrol.dll from Itje's Touch-IT project (WVGA compatible), CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll from HTC Diamond (removed in version 1.2)
23 feb 2009: "Q" series SEX1cons Version 1.1
- Added masks for bluetooth icons, streamlined CAB package, added auto-uninstall previous versions when updating (not recommened since backed-up stock icons can be overrided)
25 feb 2009: "Q" series SEX1cons Version 1.2
- Hard-coded path on CAB install script to avoid wrong installation, rebuilt shellres.192.dll, removed CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll from package (not necessary anymore)
- Added STANDARD, NON SONY-ERICSSON version without all the Sony Ericsson stuff

"Q" series PACKAGE CONTENTS
For both SEX1cons and STANDARD icons:
TASKBAR ICONS
- New icons (my work) for Speakers, Messages, Headsets, Romaing, Notifications, USB to PC, WiFi detection, WiFi disconnected & GPS
- GSM phone/data signal: from HTCLeener Option 1, untouched, plus some picks here and there from HTCLeener, crazylilboy & tsowen, all edited by me to match carnero's squared icons
- Battery icons: from Darklord69, untouched (10% increments due to hardware limitation; if you have a solution please share)
For SEX1cons only:
- Start icon: Sony Ericsson logo from guap - retouched by me
- Waiting Cursor: Sony Ericsson logo animated bouncing marble, packed by akp99 from fransb images, retouched & repackaged by me
- Preserved Xperia original phone canvas Over bitmaps dialer skin
- Boot screen: my work, from Xperia silver theme

INSTRUCTIONS
1- Uninstall any other taskbar or icons set first (REQUIRED or you may not be able to uninstall later)
2- Install SDKCERTS (REQUIRED or may not work properly because I signed the system files with a Private Developer SDK certificate)
3- Install HTC VolumeControl first (optional step, but must be installed first, or will override my speaker icons)
4- Copy the CAB to your phone and click it to install
5- If asked (shouldn't be), choose "install to Device", NOT "Storage card"
6- Click OK to auto-reset device

NOTICES
- Notification alarm (bell->****) icon included on WWE version only because the container file is locale dependan; I can edit it on request
- Packed the GPS icon but I have never seen it on my Xperia X1... anybody has ??
- Xperia can only handle 10% battery increments, but 1-100% is enabled for other WinMo devices

DOWNLOADS
CAB installers:
- English ROM users: SEX1cons "Q" series version 1.2a or STD1cons "Q" series version 1.2a CAB installer
- Non English users: SEX1cons "Q" series version 1.2i or STD1cons "Q" series version 1.2i CAB installer

hi, i'm quite new to this kind of modding windows mobile, so i just wanted to know if the cab i downloaded (the 1.2i version) can be installed on my xperia. i have an italian one whit the first firmware, and i never edited anything, so i just want to change the look of my icons. i have the standard htc task manager installed as it come, do i have to unistall it? or do i have to unistall anything else?
sorry for my bad english, i'm italian :S

Don't need to uninstall anything,
just install MS SDK certificates (SDKcerts) and then install the taskbar icons set CAB

If you don't like how they look, you can uninstall them from start->settings->system->remove programs
