The idea is great, but it does kill my volume icon.
I don't see why, as there's no Windows DLLs being replaced, very odd.
What can be the cause?
Both CABs ("AnX1 tsowens taskbar" and "HTC VolumeControl", any flavour) share the same DLL

I tweaked a DLL fo you to test, and I will cook a second "angeluszed" version of SEX1 VolumeControl today

This forum is a god-sent blessing
So much tweaking fun :)

Making volume changes silent

Thanks for your kind words, but I am more a "skinner" than a "programmer"

The "beep" is normal behaviour on every HTC VolumeControl

I have no clue on where to change it, but I will take a look inside the DLL guts again
Thanks for letting me know!
I did a quick search in the forums but couldn't find anything ...thankfully a search in the obvious place on my Xperia did help!
I found files Volume-20, Volume-40, Volume-60, Volume-80 and Volume-100 in my \Windows folder and deleted them ...simple and works perfectly.
My volume changes are now silent
Thanks again for this great skin (and the beautiful icon set!)

Not Working

Sounds nice but I uninstalled the Touch-IT Blackstone which was working fine and installd this, reinstalled, rebooted and reinstalled a couple of times but no go, i just get the standard volume changer. Ideas?

I'm running a fresh unmodified install of the latest UK GEnerIC R2AA10

Really nothing happened after I installed the cab to my internal memory. Why?

Thanks!
You have to install the CAB and manually reboot inmediately
Otherwise (as if you press the "volume" key before rebooting) the system files will be overrided

And it is also recommended to remove Touch-IT Volume Control or any other HTC VolumeControl BEFORE installing this one

I tried exactly this, had held of the power button before it had even got the progress bar to the end so that i could restart instantly. Still no go.

Do you need these sdkcerts or anything? I never needed them for the Blackstone volume etc, what might be the problem?

Since I edited and re-signed the DLL with a SDK certificate, yes you've got a point here: you need sdkcerts

I will update the fist post (I forgot to add that to the "instructions")

Amazing

.

VolumeControl II UP with the Sony Ericsson Font :D :D

I love it

Hope you love it too

And don't forget to install SDKCERTS first !!

Amazing work gtrab, I love it, using it on my SE X1i.

P.S. Maybe A slight increase in font? It seems a little aliased at the small size. I had a play myself with the mui file, increasing the second value changes the size of the button text, I made it 20 and is more to my liking now. However, I can't quite figure what changing the first value does, i thought it might change the comm manager font size which I think is too small now.

I found this font http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3131892&postcount=8

should look a little sharper and afaik is the "official" se font... have a look ;)
Maybe someone can find a way to use it in tf3d, I had no luck (only some parts are ok, others are ignored):(
Thanks, I will take a look at that one

@nurps:
NO it is not showing up in my GOOGLE MAPS, what a shame since I really like it... But YES the it applies to the CAMERA  take a look !! Beautiful IMHO

@alias_neo:
yes I have been considering a slight font increase, maybe 20 pts

SOMEBODY ELSE would like to see the Sony Ericsson font increased in size ??
What do all of you think ??
