I am having a HTC HD7 and I managed to deploy the skyper on my device via windows vista 32b but I am constantly getting the error message like being unable to start up the proxy... Can u pls tell me what I am doin' wrong here ? Very much for ur help...
Ok ... so I've done everything Ran client.exe, allowed access to skype, deployed the .xap, and on host name i'm typing "http://***.***.*.***:6789/" and after pressing login the app just loads and loads. Anyone have any idea where I'm wrong or am I missing something?

it only works when connected with a usb cable to the pc for me... Just on wifi it doesnt load and just keeps loading for minutes
With me It loads and crashes. But I think it can access something because if I dont write the right IP its only loading !BG FTW!

Microsoft only allow connections to be made over http/https, being that skype doesnt operate over the http/https protocol such apps like skype will not work.

If you remember they also said Angry Birds was going to be available until Rovio demanded they removed it. I would only believe any word from Skype themselves. If they desire they can block all non-skype clients from connecting to their service.
