Not sure. In my case I used the super wipe script each time after trying a bunch of roms. I was thinking maybe I should try just wiping cache, dalvik and everything else? What method did u use for wiping before flashing. It seems it's not getting wiped and reset completely for some reason.
Never mind. I see u answered my question in ur previous post. I was going to suggest formatting sd card but u already tried that. Weird why is it not wiping completely?

I've tried both - wiping using CWM and SuperWipe script of P3D. After first reboot I've got the sleep mode notification, when the clock was set between 11pm and 6am.

I put a different sim card in and this problem seems to have gone away. Odd...
That would be even more strange - but I'll give it a try too. But the rest of the night I'll stay with Energy :)

I have just got this notification when waking my phone after charging overnight.
Yesterday i installed the latest xe rom using the RUU (sense 3.0) coming from stock rooted sense 3.5 so it would appear to be some residue of sense 3.5 despite RUU update.

EDIT: Tried killing all applications with task manager (before 6.00am) didn't work.
Tried killing all applications after 6.00 am - sucess!
Don't no if this will return tomorrow only time will tell!

Most probably it will return. Doesn't matter how many times u kill it. This is getting annoying maybe I should just use a sense 3.5 rom. I found sense 3.5 roms much slower than sense 3.0.

I ended up going back to 3.5 for this reason also. I prefer 3.0 for it's speed, but until this gets sorted I'll stick with 3.5.

Disregard.. The problem is back! I'm going to try a CM7 rom and see if it persists. I wonder how we can get some clever devs to notice this thread..
If You like to stay with Sense 3.0 Bulletproof 1.4 and Energy Sense 3.0 (dl link is removed) are not affected by this...

I think I've found it. :)

I could disable "sleep mode" (at least at P3D 8.2.1) by changing the values "htc_wireless_sleep_start_time" and "htc_wireless_sleep_end_time" in /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db to "0". Seems to be the time in minutes from midnight.

Looks like these values are introduced in Sense 3.5 and transfered into later installations of (some) Sense 3.0 roms through Google Account, when "save/restore settings to/from Google account" was activated. But I think most of us use this feature, or who likes to install his favorite apps one by one after changing rom ?

As far as I can see on my Google Dashboard the "Android System Settings" of my device are update in my account after changing this entry so I hope they will be synchronised to future installations.

P.S.: regarding not affected Bulletproof 1.4: here the "htc_wireless_sleep*" values are not taken over from Google Account. I don't know why but may be related to different rom bases ???

What are you using to edit the settings.db file?

What are you using to edit the settings.db file?
I used the SQLite Editor from Speedsoft (payed app in the market), but there may be free (and working) alternatives.

Edit: I startet to add a step by step guide using the free alternative "DB Browser" - but nearly at the end it doesn't save :(

So here's the step by step guide for "SQLite Editor" I used:
- open SQLite Editor (it searches all installed apps)
- go down to "com.android.providers.settings" (even after changing language setting to English I still see the German "Einstellungsspeicher" in first row - may be called "settings storage")
- select "settings.db"
- select table "system"
- go down to "htc_wireless_sleep_end_time"
- "Edit Record"
- change value to 0 and Save
- same for "htc_wireless_sleep_start_time"
- close app and reboot

I'm sure there are many other ways to change this value (like using command line sql statements) - but I think this may be the easy way.

Tested so far on P3D 8.2.1 and CoreDroid 2.5...

Looks like I've disabled the sleep mode notification. I flashed ARHD 4.1.6 and made sure the power mode was disabled then wiped everything and flashed ARHD 3.6.5. It seems to be gone now. I've rebooted a bunch of times during the sleep mode time and didn't get any notifications so far.

I just wanted to update people. I tried editing the file with the free program, but I couldn't get it to work. I decided to flash bulletproof and the problem returned for me. My family has 3 sensations and mine is the only one that that has been on sense 3.5 and mine is the only one that has the problem. I'm going to push the file to my desktop and try to edit it there.

Further update - I edited the file on my desktop and the records did not exist. I tried reactivating powersaver mode and it was not there.

Did You try to deactivate "save/restore settings to my Google account" when asked at setup direct after installation ?
If this doesn't help, You may try to create and use a new (clean) Google account (just to be sure it doesn't comes from stored settings).
