Do all of these work OK with The Advent Vega..?
Yes the slide cover works fine with the advent vega tegra note 7. See my YouTube review if interested where I show it working with my advent vega tegra note 7 tablets. Links to my uploads are in my tag line below. I am happy with the cover. It could have been better for one handed use but I still like it.

Man, the slide cover is hot garbage. Not long after I first got it my tablet fell and on side of the plastic side piece started to chip away. Then I noticed, the other day, that the other end of the plastic was starting to chip for no reason. It finally totally broke yesterday. It became apparent that the metal that holds the cover to the plastic piece doesn't even run the full length of the gray plastic. It's just tiny little pins at the end.

Had I known more about the build quality of the slide cover I'd never have gotten one in the first place.

I agree ... it really is a flimsy thing. I got it for free and thinking about replacing it.

So if anyone thinks about getting it ... unless it is really cheap, don't!

I actually quite like it! If you are the kind that likes your phone case to be a brick then you won't like this case. How every if you just like something slim and magnetic screen lock activation then you will like the case. I have two of them and it had survived a drop. I actually might get another one for my third tegra note 7.

This is the cover I purchased. Works as intended. Just a pity about the price.

As far as I know, regardless of the manufacturer, all tegra note 7's are physically identical.

That's expensive. I bought the same one for £20 each from Curry's with free delivery

Tegra slide cover

I posted this on another thread but it probably should have gone here. I simply cannot find a compatible cover in the UK or ships there, although some of the previous posts about the more regular cases were useful.

The official covers seem to have sold out at PC World and Currys. I found out today when mine broke and I tried to order another one. I liked the cover but it was not worth £20. When mine broke, it was the silver hinge that snapped with little force. But I was able to see that the silver plastic hinge is not strong enough; the plastic is too weak and the metal bar that holds it is only an inch long at each end and very thin. You can also see that the amount of plastic surrounding the bar is minimal, so don't lift the cover in a way that leaves the tablet dangling. Essentially, these are design flaws that mean it doesn't last long. A pity, as the sleep mode and variable viewing angles allowed by the main cover worked well. I haven't yet found a copy. Better materials and a little more thinking in the design department about the official cover and I wouldn't need one.

it's a bit harsh but get the cover working again.

mine broke at the black plastic where it hooks into the cover. I ended up trimming away the plastic, bending and cutting a paperclip into an L shape and once cut to size burning a slot into the cover with a soldering iron until it hit the stiffener. a drop of hot glue to hold it together and it works again.

crappy cheap design though, could have been sooo much better.

buy the fintie slate 7 extreme cover from ebay US IMO.

Didn't get it along with the tablet. I can't find it anywhere in India:confused:, if you could help me where can I get it in India, would be very thankful.
My post was several months ago. When I Google (India) searched then for the tegra note 7 Slide cover And selected the shopping option in Google it brought up several bundle deals with the cover included. Try searching like that. But I don't know if it is still available as the new version tablet has just been released.
