Slim cases recommendation? Beware of UAG Plasma Series!

Was looking at the back of my cases. Noticed the Tech21 Evo wallet has wide exposed cut outs also as compared to my other cases. Basically, the power port and s pen cut too far to the back of the phone leaving exposed areas for point of impact.

Hate those huge cutouts, compromises the protection just to have more room to pull out the spen.
Thinking seriously to go with a thin case as they seem to have very precise cutouts.
I do love my UAG Plasma's I have, but the cutouts that cost me a new Note 8 and the fact that I cannot find a good compatible screen protector that will cover the full edges, leaves me with no choice but to look for a different case :silly:
Pitaka's aramid case is sexy AF and fully compatible with screen protectors, so might give that a try.
The Otterbox Defender has this same problem also. The cutout for the Spen is HUGE on it and leaves half of it exposed.
If i look to the pictures of this case i bet it isn't a single % better than the UAG ones if it comes to s-pen area protection.
