Hello everybody, I'ld like to present you my own Custom ROM. It's called Slim Jelly Beans.

To the ROM:
The ROM is called Slim Jelly Beans because the ROM.zip-size is pretty slim :D I think there's no JB ROM for our Sola out there with such a small size :p I was just thinking about creating an own ROM and also Sony Jelly Bean but with a tiny size, so here it is ;)

Features:
-iOS Sounds (Lockscreen, Notification etc.)
-Radio
-rooted and busyboxed
-Super Slim (~ 215MB .zip-size)
-SystemUI with Brightnessbar
-maybe more, can't remember more atm :p

Instructions:
-Flash boot.img from .zip via Fastboot
-Enter CWM
-Make a full wipe:
  • Wipe Data/Factory Reset
  • Wipe Cache
  • Wipe Dalvik Cache
-Flash ROM
-ATTENTION!: Follow the instructions in CWM! At the end it'll tell you to reboot (Hold Power + VolumeUp)
-Enter again CWM and flash the latest SuperSu

Changelog:

Sunday,19th Jan 2014 / Slim Jelly Beans v3.0:
-Working Illumination Bar! Thousand thanks to @akkufix
-Latest Experimental Kernel (v12)
-No more based on Wolf ROM
-no more Hanomi Stuff, just Stock JB
-Deleted my Bootanimation (too much useless MB's)
-added AOSP Clock
-build.prop and init.d tweaked (light tweaked)
-deleted Settings with CPU Control (It's useless imho, use Performance Contro App)
-Back to Sony Home, Camera, Gallery and Walkman
-Zip size increased :( That's the result when using Sony Apps :D

Old versions:
Saturday, 7th Dec 2013 / Slim Jelly Beans v2.0:
-added my own Bootanimation (simple but cool)
-removed Hanomi Stuff
-based on Wolf ROM v1.2 now
-Apps that couldn't be installed can be installed now!
-Swapped AOSP Clock with Stock Clock
-Gallery reads ext. SD-Card too
-added Settings with CPU Control (own modified)
-SystemUI with Brightnessbar (feature of Wolf ROM)

Sent with my SXSola on Slim Jelly Beans v1.3
DAY 1

I installed this ROM this morning and am impressed with it's stability and battery life so far.

I've installed my apps and the lag that accompanies many stock based ROMS doesn't appear to be creeping in. Less than one day since flashing, but battery life is as good as stock, if not slightly better. I haven't done any gaming on it, but will post more result when I have a chance.

Actually this ROM is good enough that I hope CM11 doesn't get finished, because I don't want to flash another ROM:eek:

DAY 2

38% battery left after a 12 hour day of light use. Listened to music for my hour walk to work, half a dozen short phone calls...and generally fiddling and messing around customizing wallpapers and such..Running smooth

I've downloaded an flash the ROM, and as you said its really slim...
So far so good, I haven't tested thoroughly but with "greenify" i get always 100+ MB of free RAM, and the overall performance is very snappy.
I've a request, could you post the other themes or direct me to the link that you have downloaded them from, thanx!
Keep the good work up!

I already thought that something like that will come :p

I'm very busy at the moment but I try to make a add-on :) A zip which you flash and then you'll have your old themes back ;)
