They would be the same or about the same, a rom doesn't increase benchmarks, a custom kernel might, benchmarks have their place this isn't one of them.

roms tend to have built in performance tweaks and the fact this rom is missing a lot of the system apps that constantly run on stock that alone can provide a decent boost in performance

What TWRP do you have, I run 3.0.30 and flashed the rom and the same gapp as yours. Arm 6.0 stock...

look like I'm on the same recovery
I did format and wipe data, no restore, fresh install.
still google play crashing. I did the R1 tools to unlock and install TWRP recovery.

Not that it should matter but I first installed the rom and booted without gapps installed.

then after seeing in was working, rebooted to recovery did wipe and installed gapps.

I just finished the same porting process for @vampirefo 's LineageOS 13, it has few bugs at the moment but the camera does work. I will work on the bugs then put up an other thread for that one too.

I appears the bugs I had were from the Gapps already installed during slimrom. Bugs went away after full system wipe.

just preference.

if you want minimal and play store, pico can be used.
And if you do not want play store you do not need any gapps

Guys I really need help now.. I don't have recovery anymore, I tried to flash the Blu_Life_Max_3.1.1_TWRP.img from TWRP recovery and nothing.....
the only thing that work now on this blu R1 HD now is the fastboot menu and I can't get a device ID ..
Do I have a brick now? anyone has a solution I can use?

ok , take it slow.
That recovery is not for this phone.

from fastboot should be able to flash correct recovery.

When I type from a cmd prompt "adb devices" I get nothing, no device connected
What would the correct recovery img?

adb device will not show in fastboot mode.
need to check with "fastboot devices"

should show

then take this txt file and rename it to "install-twrp.bat" and put it into the folder for unlock tool. then with phone in fastboot mode and connected to usb run the batch file.

V-3.5 released

Next fixed version is out. v3.5
*camera is still sometimes failing to connect. need to reboot to get camera back online.
*currently testing v3.6 and so far has not crashed, but hoping to fix video before release.
*Now testing v3.7 back video is recording but front is not (no selfie video)


With cm snap(stock camera) removed and open camera in its place camera has been more reliable.
Microphone has been fixed.
Sim 1 tested and phone, message, and data all work as should.
GPS working
