Anyway even in this case, I'll try to update this ROM whenever I fix a issue ... so please, don't expect to fix issues in the same way ( quickly ) like in the Android N, because there is a huge difference in terms of development between Android N and Oreo

Of course not. But some roms that are for your device should be so close to same that you won't notice any difference. Like RR7.1.2[RR-N][OMS][Unofficial][Honor 4/4x][Resurrection Remix]

I forgot to say that you first need install p8 lite rom (EMUI 4.1)

My device is che2-l11 not p8 lite how I installed p8 lite official ROM first my device not p8 !!!

If it has META-INF folder in that zip just flash it in TWRP. P8lite official roms work on honor 4x

Probably won't brick, but won't boot neither.

If it has META-INF folder in that zip just flash it in TWRP. P8lite official roms work on honor 4x

Download file the ksrt12 linked (B896) -> Boot to twrp -> check that all partitions are mounted -> Install b896 like any custom rom -> (might be optional) reboot to recovery and to factory reset -> re-flash TWRP -> install wanted rom

Also if this is your daily usage phone you don't want to install android O in it's current status..
