Are you using dalvik? 5.1.1 have ART runtime, so you have to use ART to restore, and try if works

Some SoT screens.
Mobile data allways on.

Trimis de pe al meu Moto G folosind Tapatalk
This is because the kernel is adapted, is a kernel for CM12.1 with old WiFi drivers from KitKat, and if you see the CPU frequencies with an application like kernel auditor you can see that are always on 1190 MHz (that's why it is so fast). If someone tell me what is the exact commit to use for use old KitKat kernel without screen flickering issue, i can fix the battery drain.

Don't get me wrong that's a good battery life.At 15% i had 3:25 SoT which is good for a day with mobile data activated all the time.

Thank you for advice but it didn't work.
I was able to do restore with Helium.
But I have another problem, first i was not able to turn off screen and after that screen won't turn of, I have to go to recovery and restore my old backup rom.

1. can I just flash stock 4.4.4 kernel from this thread?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649763
If so then which one, gpe or retail?
Will it resolve battery drain issue?
2. On downloads page I see two versions of rom. What is the difference between them? I'm currently using the tweaked one.
3. If flashing stock kernel is not an option or it doesn't resolve battery drain, will kernel adiutor be of any help to tweak the kernel back to more modest frequencies retaining somehow the speed of this rom?
4. I couldn't find any info about doubletap2wake and sweep2wake. Do they consume battery when enabled?

p.s. I've tried A LOT of roms including aospextended nougat and resurrection remix lolipop to nougat and this slimrom is the best for me.
I don't play games on my falcon but I do use 4-5 apps simultaneously including ucbrowser and maps.me and with this rom multitasking is finally working the way I always wanted.

Try this ROM using integrated kernel and kernel auditor for put down the frequencies and you will have perfect battery life.
