Proton kernel significatnly quickens this on A11.
I don't know if there is a Proton kernel for A12, but if so it probably has the same tweak in it.

Thanks for letting us know. Is there a change log or source code you can point at?

I have taken a look at the source code (e. g. kernel_redbull(_redfin), device_redbull(_redfin) and frameworks_base) but cannot find a corresponding commit.

Android 13 beta fixed it, build is pretty stable, have been running it on my daily phone without much issues

Thanks for the information. So, if Google is able to fix it in A13 beta they'll be able to do it in the next A12 stable build as well, I hope.

Finally, the slow fingerprint unlock issue has been fixed with the build of June.

Also, the battery consumption seems to got improved for me.
