Question SM-A526B Oem Lock: ON (U1) Can't root

Hi,

After buying the phone, I tried to change the rom to unbranded. Unfortunately, several attempts did not bring results, because in my country unbranded soft detects the operator's brand anyway.

Then at least I wanted to root my phone. OEM lock in developer options was not visible, but tutorials from forum worked and it is now ON.

Unfortunately, despite the enabled option, when I enable booting, I have the information Oem Lock: ON (U1).
I've waited 168 hours but that doesn't help.
I also tried MAGISK by ABT and Fasttool but it doesn't work (I get an error).

What can be done about it. I was looking for information for a long time and to be honest I do not know whether this phone can be rooted?

My model is A52 5G SM-A526B with the operator's brand.

I had similar issues with OEM unlock and rooting.
I returned the phone before the 2 week window expired. Picked up a OnePlus 9 and have had no issues.

Hello, Do anyone have an solution for this? The long press (to enabel OEM) on the screen have disappeared after upgrading to android 12 and UI 4.0. Now its the same as SKIBALDZ. Can´t enter the phone as it can´t download workprofile anymore...

I did not understand that post and the guide/tutorial. Can you specify what to do? cant use odin as it oem locked.

But it is clearly explained in my post #65 !!!...

From your picture I see you installed a stock firmware and I guess you didn't fully setup your system with your google account and that's why the OEM Toggle doesn't show off...

That's it !

Depends what you did or did not do...

You can also try to reboot your phone and see if that changes anything...
