If I purchase a SM-G781B/DS or a SM-G781B "should" the bootloader be unlockable or do I run the risk of it being permanantly locked?

I have a G781B.
G781B
G780G
G780F
they are unlockable.
The only ones that would have problems are:
G781U
G781U1
G781V
G781W
So this next one might be a fairly stupid question, but my brain has not been at top form lately. I should have no problem with a "carrier" lock since the bootloader can be unlocked correct?

you can unlock and lock the bootloader.
if you use samsung pass and other related, you will lose that option.
you have the control you want in G781B
root, encryption, etc.
