AFAIK it is not. Auto network selection doesn't connect and when I select manually they do not seem to work.

Just to confirm when restoring back to stock ROM everything works perfectly on Bluegrass SIM

Maybe the KLTE ROMs aren't reading our modems correctly?

I flashed an international rom.. Got signal, could call but no data or text or anything. I wonder what would need to be changed to make it work

I have a non-active Verizon Prepaid SIM Card laying here. I put it into the phone while on stock 4.4.2

I tried to make a call to see what it would do and it connected me straight to the Verizon account thing.

Odd, but I thought it was worth mentioning that it actually "called" out with the Verizon sim. Too bad I don't have access to an active Verizon sim to test further

Also, flashed a stock odex T-Mobile ROM. WIth my T-Mobile SIM, 4G LTE was working as well as SMS/MMS. Wi-Fi Calling was also working, However I could not get calls to work over network

You can add APNs to the international ROMs?

I found an aicp build for VZW. Works perfectly. Still looking for cm11 or aosp aokp etc working. I saw a VZW cm11 in a thread is in the works. That'd work for us too.

Ah ok was just wondering. I would love to find a good custom rom to use atm. I have problems with the VZW ones. I want a international one to work but idk how to patch it to work.

Once CM comes out on the VZW model (hopefully soon) l I will most likely switch from stock to that.

I've never really used cm. I've always used tw. Might switch it up for a while, Probably better battery life.

It's a lot less bloated for sure. I don't use any of the Samsung stuff really.

Will one of you do the Odin flash to see if the Knox resets?

I was able to access service menu via terminal emulator. I'm sure there is a way to get voice to work, as XDA has successfully made the sprint s4 work on US gsm by messing around in service mode and various GSM Samsung phones have been unlocked via service menu. I am just not knowledge enough to figure out how to do this myself

Just to to terminal emulator
Type su

And enter the following as one line:

am broadcast -a android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE -d android_secret_code://27663

I forgot to ask which phone are you getting next?

I actually have a G900W8 from Telus Canada. It is unlocked and fully functional on T Mobile LTE.

I purchased the G900r6 because I was under the impression it would work with T Mobile like the Verizon version, right out of the box with simply entering a TMo APN.. I realized I could not get calls working on tmo, only data sms/mms no matter what I attempted.

In the meantime, my G900r6 sold today. I lost around $50 off my initial purchase price after shipping, PayPal, and final value fees are deducted. I can't complain as if It had worked as I expected I would have been a happy camper. I know the person who purchased it is getting a great phone, I just don't have the patience to wait for a workaround for calls to work over GSM. I'm sure a hack will be made, as XDA has gotten Sprint S4 , Sprint Moto X, etc to work on GSM in the US and sprint phones are usually much more difficult to get working on US carriers compared to Verizon phones which as of recent are unlocked out of the box...
