Question

yes Twisted v7 is the rom
I did all that you said, but
1. I have verizon s5 and 4g lte does not worked on it
I installed Alliance rom from t mobile and it was good no problem but still i do not have 4g lte, and than I installed Twisted V7
on sd card and OC4 Retail Firmware on my desktop,
so it was ok with Alliance rom until i installed OC4 - then I have this
"Unfortunately, system UI has stopped Ok.

Is it possible to fix this?

Thanks

I'm not sure if at&t Rom's will work because i don't have at&t. If you cant get LTE check your apn settings if that isn't it maybe you aren't in a area that has 4g LTE.
As for the System UI FC's your getting im not sure either because I've never had that problem try a HotReboot and if all else fails restore your backup or use odin to go back to stock and start all over.
The OC4 Firmware is only for 5.0 LolliPop roms if you use a KitKat or JellyBean rom use one of the verizon retail kitkat or JellyBean firmwares.

i tried this for metropcs thinking since they use the same network it should work. when the phone came up, for a short moment it showed metropcs for network, then went to searching. it shows 2 bars but no 2g,3g,4g. when i attempt to make a call it says "not registered on network". dont know if metro is blocking the authentication or if something went foul in the flash.

Did you check your APN?

No matter what rom I put in it, even stock vzw, it shows no bars and a x. I am going to get another sim card from metro today to see if that is the culprit. Is there any chance that vzw has lock this thing to their network?

Sent from my SM-G920V using XDA Free mobile app

I followed wrecles' installation tutorial for custom T-Mobile roms on the Verizon S5 and here are my results:

I tried the vision T-Mobile rom and it worked fine, 4g calls and texts were working. But the GPS was atrocious. couldn't lock onto me at all

I tried the Stock Lollipop rom made by The Sickness (the same guy you made the Twisted rom, just a much more stock/debloated version). The rom itself worked fine, but i couldn't get any service whatsoever, no matter what apn settings I tried

I'm about to try a Verizon rom called FreedomRom and see if I have better luck with it. I literally got this phone yesterday and immediately rooted and tried flashing custom roms after reading this thread and i haven't had very good luck at all. we'll see what happens with the Verizon rom

Is it possible at all that instead of flashing the OC4 firmware only file that we should also flash the modem and kernel as well? i just realized that those other files were on there

Freedom Rom is pretty stable an reliable but it needs a few tweaks when you fist install it. I've been running it for a while. Everything works but no Wi-Fi calling and you cannot set T-Mobiles 123 in the #1 speed dial for your voice mail. But you can dial 123 or use T-Mobiles Visual Voicemail. This way you get your voicemail fine. Try it, it works but I don't know if there would be any more updates.

My wife has a SM-G900V (mistakenly bought as we are on T-MOBILE) - I put the SIM card in and it basically works but has much worse reception in different areas than her prior S3. Also, I would like to replace the ROM with CM13.

Should I use the KLTE version or KLTEVZW ( considering I need it for T-MOBILE only ).

Thank you for any pointers!

Use the KLTEVZW version and manually input your APN settings. Most of the time the KLTE variant of particular roms won't even let you flash it. I'm currently on Resurrection Remix M 5.6.8 and it has been running stable for me.

MMS issue

So i just bought a Verizon S5 and it wasn't activated on Verizon yet and i put my T-mobile sim card in it and its working fine, its been a whole day now and its still working fine (data, calls, texting) apart from the notification "The sim card is from an unknown source".

Has anyone else tried it?
I have an SM-G-900V and I am attempting to use it with Consumer Cellular. They use the T-Mobile network in my area. I'm having trouble with Group Texts, and any other MMS. Either won't send, or takes about an hour to go through.
