SM-G920R7 getting ROMS to work

Hey guys,

I'm working on a Samsung GS6 model SM-G920R7 (C-spire branded) and trying to get ROMs working on it. This phone is most closely related to the SM-G920P and SM-G920R4.

So far, every ROM I try for the "unified" S6 will boot but no cellular and no touchscreen. If I take one of those roms (right now I'm working with xtrestolite) and replace the kernel (boot.img) in the zip file with a compatible kernel (one from the G920R4 or G920P or G920R7) it boots, touchscreen works, root seems to work, everything works except cellular. Baseband says unknown in about.

Any thoughts/ideas? I'm so close to having this working I just need to get cellular working again.

I have the exact same issue. Except my model is G920R6. I flashed over my stock kernel to get touch working but cellular connectivity doesn't work. Which I need for obvious reasons. Tried a few roms and the same issue.

I'm trying to do the same as you. Seems like you've made more progress than I have. All I've managed to do is root the thing, but can't access recovery now.
