To begin make sure you have samsung usb drivers installed. Now make sure you use Princecomsys modified odin, next download the latest U Firmware from here, https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634768085 or here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767159704. Next put your phone in download mode and open odin make sure all firmware files are in the right spot and click start. wait until your phone boots into recovery mode and restarts, after that wipe cache and factory reset in recovery when your phone boots to the welcome screen, after that you are finished. This can be done on all s7 variants except for the international and Sprint variants, Thanks to Princecomsy and muniz for providing odin and the firmware files for this version.
In response to

I have flashed the unbranded XAA firmware perfectly fine to a Sprint variant using the modded Odin (both G930P and G935P)
Of course it doesn't unlock the sim/network, just makes it bloat free.

Thank you so much for this. This worked perfectly in my G930A.

I had previously rooted this phone and returned it back to stock unrooted. I always had a problem with it afterwords, my fingerprint scanner would never unlock my phone. After installing this, my fingerprint unlock works now.

Hot spot works, bloat free, fast and stable. What else could I ask for?

Stock AT&T with freshly fully reset phone, Developer settings adb enabled and unlock checked, on 6.0.1. I just un FRP'd this phone today. Got it yesterday from police auction.
When it starts up stock it sets up just fine.

When booting into download mode with the phone unplugged, at the top left I get:
(red letters) ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G935A
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
FAP LOCK: OFF
WARRANTY VOID: 0X0
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
APP SWREV: B4(2,1,1,1,1) K1 S3
SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE

So I unzipped the Universal file into the 4 .md5 files. Tried using those with the PrinceComsey Oden, 3.12. Error message FAIL... Re-partition operation failed.

Renamed the .md5 packages, removing the md.5, leaving them as .tar. Same result. I used the stock U CSC file. There is no Home CSC file. Fine by me.

I've gone into fastboot and cleared/reset the entire system, and started all over going into the phone and setting it up, Dev options, etc.... same results, over and over.

There was no PIT file in the package. My next step, as I understand FAP lock: Enable, means that is stopping the flash over the stock rom, and I read a suggestion somewhere to re-flash the phone with a fully stock rom.

New: So, now have flashed the stock AT&T G935AUCU4BQA6, and the flash worked. Reset Dev options, OEM unlock, adb, etc. It is on 7.0.

Rebooted to System, Reset Dev options, OEM unlock, adb, etc. and back to download mode to install Universal files.

Loaded 4 files for Universal package, and error'ed out again. On phone it said Secure Check Fail: PIT. In PrinceComsey Oden, 3.12. Final result: Complete (Write) operation failed. ...(succeed 0/failed 1). Re-try and on phone Secure Check Fail: aboot

Loaded the Stock OEM PIT file, and the process would not do anything.

It seems a number of folks have had success installing the Universal setup on the AT&T phone. I am stumped. Would someone please tell me how to solve this?

No more Voice over LTE?

You will lose wifi calling, hd voice and you will lose video calling as well
Question -

1. In moving from the G930A to G930U, will I be able to have Voice of LTE (VoLTE) on AT&T?
2. Once I move to the G930U rom, can I then use the phone on any US network (like the real G930U) such as Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile? (Assuming the phone is Unlocked)?

Meaning is this merely a ROM flash or does the phone actually convert to a real G930U phone?

Thank you,

So do you want to flash the firmware, allow it to boot without going into recovery, then shut it down from the welcome screen, boot into recover, and prefer a cashe wipe and factory reset, and it should be good? I'm mostly confused about what to do directly after flashing. Do you boot into recovery right after you flash and factory reset from there, or right after you flash, let it boot, THEN wipe cashe and factory reset?

I'm currently on an unlocked G930A. Has G930U had an update since last year? If so, what's the latest security update? Does Samsung Pay still function?

I know I'm going to lose WiFi calling, video calling, and HD, but I don't use them anyway.

Edit: The latest security patch is current. It updated them all one at a time. Samsung Pay is still completely operational.
