All the major carriers have it. Verizon just got it about a week ago. It's pretty stupid that an UNLOCKED version doesn't have the latest software, so dumb of Samsung to do that.
Also None of the Verizon versions of S7 has the updated firmware too, so far only T-Mobile in the US has 7.0
May be AT&T does too
You can Odin another carriers nougat on the U. I'm using Verizon's until it does cone out.
No you don't have to root. It's just a simple Odin procedure.Do I need to root my phone to do that? or I can just ODIN it?
Any instructions or videos on it, really don't want to root the phone as it decrease the value
Great
Where do I get the Verizon Rom? And how is your experience so far?
Is it pretty smooth? Any lag and what about the battery life?
someone wrote a guide for root/unroot/returning to stock rom

Hmm, this is going to root the phone, I don't want to root it, as it will decrease it's value. I will wait for another week or two if there is no update to 7.0 I will sell it
Just like he said but when you download the Verizon firmware, make sure you use CSC and not the HOME CSC when you flash. Home will keep your data but I'm not sure how it'll react coming from a different carrier.Hmm, this is going to root the phone, I don't want to root it, as it will decrease it's value. I will wait for another week or two if there is no update to 7.0 I will sell it
what? no, just scroll down (bottom of first post) to where it says "return to stock" and follow the instructions there. you don't have to be rooted to install another official samsung rom. and also fwiw even if you do end up rooting you can always reinstall stock rom without tripping knox (as implied in the tutorial).
Yes, you can use any carriers firmware and you shouldn't have any issues. No, you can always flash back to a sm-g930u firmware at any time.I have the Galaxy S7 unlocked G930U using it on T-Mobile Network. What I would like to know is if I am able to use the T-mobile s7 SMG-930T Firmware without any issues? I realized that the unlocked version doesn't offer video call over LTE, it's only available on stock Tmobile Galaxy S7. Also would I lose the phone being unlocked? I am ready to sell the phone although I don't want to.
