Can I flash the t-mobile version to the US unlocked version? My wife's t-mobile version gets updates much faster than my unlocked version and I've had enough.
yes. for the CSC file, people say that choosing the home CSC file allows updating without a wipe. if that doesn't work, the regular CSC file will wipe and possibly repartition in order to make the system partition larger for the tmobile rom over your unlocked rom.Can I flash the t-mobile version to the US unlocked version? This is not needed, am not in the US and I get OTAs for aUS device device is SM-G930U (still on MM)It doesn't OTA because you're in Europe and not in the US. I suggest you install a VPN app, select any server in the US and then search for updates again. That way I THINK it should work.
u dont have to be rooted just flash itSo, this was asked a few pages ago, but never got an answer. Does it have to be rooted to flash another stock firmware? I have an AT&T S7 on APK1 and would like to flash TMO firmware. So, does it have to be rooted first, or can I just load up the TMO files in Odin and go?
Avoid all the hassle and unlock first then flash.. AT&T normally does not tend to release firmware files. It is possible to go back to AT&T based firmware but to me its just complicated and not worth it.So, say I flashed this firmware before SIM unlocking and AT&T phone. Am I screwed? Is there a G930A firmware that I can flash back to to unlock? Link?
You were able to flash the new 930U nougat update onto the 930T?New update available. Android Nougat working flawless.
