@JUSMEJOSE i tried to flash twrp on my g955fd, now my phone stuck at the first samsung logo. tried to install original firmware back and still getting "failed" in odin. i specifically bought this international version to get root since i couldnt get it on my regular canadian one :(

I'm having the exact same issue! Did you have any luck rectifying it?

Every time I reflash it I still get FRP locked

Can anyone help me with my S8+ I'm trying to factory reset to a brand new phone, because I bought it off someone who had an FRP lock which I didn't know what was at the time until I had wiped all his data from the home and bottom volume button, Anyways the number for it is SM-G955FXXU1AQC8. I can't find recovery firmware for my specific code number and when I try another number it reflashes but doesn't reset the phone and doesn't erase all content or memory. Please help

I had that problem after trying to use Autoroot and/or twrp. I flashed AP_G955FXXU1AQF7_CL11544126_QB13847503_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5 (NEE) which ended up wiping Userdata as well.. :crying: I should of course have unpacked it and just flashed the recovery.img. Lessons learned.

Hi, I did not use Samsung devices long time. Is it possible to root s8 and bring it back to stock complete. Knox is still triped and can't be reversed or it is possible now to root and and go back as nothing happened? Thanks

You can flash stock firmware and bring it back to factory condition but if you have rooted Knox will be tripped permanently, no way to reverse this.

I tried to flash ENGBOOT using ' ODIN Modded by Princecomsy ' on my SM-N955F S8+ ... now it stops on the Samsung Logo boot screen. I can get ODIN to connect (modded or unmodded) but any Firmware I try to install gets a message - FAILED (Device Info).
It can start in default recovery mode but I don't know what to do to fix it.... also in Download screen it now says - Warranty void 1 (0x0303) - please can anyone help...

Hi Jusmejose,

Can you please help me get the PIT for IUS? I was originally TCE and switched to IUS but CSC went CWW. I understand CWW is the default for IUS firmware. How do I change to CSC IUS? My understanding is I need a specific PIT for it.

PS: I don't want to root it nor trip knox.

I hope you can help me.

Hey folks so ive been spending at least 2 and a bit hours for the last 7 days online trying to find a solution to fix my phone. Im lucky a have a old phone to use in meantime as my s8+ is stuck on Samsung screen. I tried to flash stock rom via odin but it kept failing. I found somewhere that i just needed the pit file to put into odin but i cant find it and im on the verge of a nervous break down (a bit dramatic lol) Im in the uk using Vodafone csc is VOD model is SM G955f. I must sound so pathetic and i apologise it just ive not had the phone long and ive done this while rooting the phone and fu*ked it up. ANY help would be soooooooooo appreciated !!

I have S8+ (SM-G955F) and I need downgrade from Oreo (bootloader v2) to nougat (bootloader v1)

"combination file" could help me with this:confused:XXU2ARE1 it's nougat firmware with bootloader v2:confused:

Hi friends i got this Samsung galaxy s8+ SPRINT version the thing is im not longer living on usa anymore so i can't make my galaxy a hotspot for my laptop and it's software issue because if you go sprint they unlock it if you buy a plan that can make hotspots the thing is there is any solution please???????? I dont have the hotspot & tethering option
