Does it Work?

Have you tried rooting the device and flashing my rom on it? You can then flash a VZW CSC on it.

Were we ever able to confirm that this method works?

I don't care about, knox, I dont care about root, I dont care about warranty.

1. Can I get Samsung Pay to work under any circumstance?

2. Can i install my UK/EU (maybe UK network CSC) CSC to make it my region version?

Hey everyone. I recently purchased a galaxy s8 edge 64g sm-g955n by mistake. I thought I was getting the US phone. I finally get the phone, turn it on and absolutely nothing is the same. I don't have any of the same menu options, it is only showing 2g of storage total, and it is running lollipops. It is the same outside as the s8 with fingerprint sensor and all but I can't use it because I have no menu options or anything. I don't have any security (fingerprint, iris, face recognition.) I can't customize anything but the wallpaper. What can I do to get all the features of a real s8?

I'm more or less in the same situation, I'm about to order this the 6gb version into Europe. So maybe an answer to this helps both.

I don't have a problem with the samsung apps I just want to convert the firmware closest possible to a fully featured S8 bought say in Germany or UK.
So working Spay and Samsung apps, I dont care for bixby but id like the chance to try it so I can form my opinion before remapping button .

Is it possible to keep all of this functional by switching just CSC or does it need a custom rom+CSC and will that affect the Samsung stock stuff?
I dont mind a custom stock rom(carrier debloated even) as long as it doesn't bomb the rest of the goodies.

unable to bypass FRP

Hi My wife own a S8+ G955N KT version,
she did a factory reset and forget the google email, i have tried many ways to bypass the FRP screen.
and i have problem to enable the deverloper option, after i press 7 times the build number it nothing show up

please help

On my s2plus i can basically flash supersu on twrp when needed, for removal/add system apps, and unroot after im done modifying what i want. Would this be possible in this case?

Just ensure you have the TWRP installed with @jesec's instructions, and then rooting will be perfectly fine with Magisk.

You cannot unroot and untrip KNOX, once you root you will lose KNOX warranty (0x1) and is not reversible.

Im importing to Europe so does that warranty extend to me anyway?
Other then that is there any other downside to tripping knox?
