SM-N910H the 3g variant

Hey Im using the exact same setup only noticeable difference is your bootloader version , when I go into service mode to change bands there is nothing there at all I have hani rom n910h bootloader and modem im stuck here just because I can't change bands but I can connect to 2/3g it seems
I haven't tried to change any bands because secret menu isn't available in my rom. I also can't confirm the exact bands being used by my provider.
Also I have access to LTE/3G/2G (Auto Connect) and LTE only options in the mobile network menu. Do you have these options available?
If you have everything else in place make sure your in range of an LTE signal, maybe hanging out at your providers head office or any outdoor location where there is a guaranteed LTE signal

Yes I have these options enabled but as soon as i go 4g only I get no network but on my other phone same sim get full lte network. My secret menu also is hidden, what else did you do besides flash bl and cp after the hani rom?

Are you using Hani base or Simpl v6c?
nothing really just flashed Simplite V6C.
I tried flashing C modem via TWRP while using H bootloader but that just causes a boot loop.

Ok so now the issue is figuring out how to switch bands because the other guy has his clearly working but he didn't have to switch bands

HI guys, I'm currently using SimplRom v6c on my N910H and everything is cool. About LTE, I can see 4G/3G/2G autoconnect and LTE only options. I can see 5 bands listed. Can't connectto the network tho as my place is a network blackspot (yup, even struggles to get 3G connectivity) and it's 02:00 so I can't walk out right now. Followup report coming up "tomorrow".

So, that's what I see when I use phone info. Haven't been able to get LTE yet though. Connectivity is pretty bad so I can't be sure whether it's the phone or the network.
just be mindful that on this rom you won't see LTE you will see 4G once your in coverage. you can also try setting network mode to LTE only to see if you can force the connection

4G, LTE, same difference. But yes, those are the bands I'm getting. I'll update y'all when I get some legit results.

So, my 4G/LTE won't work. Don't be discouraged though, it's just that my carrier used band 3 and 20 which are now inaccessible. I'll stick to H+ before I can upgrade in a few months. However, should anyone find a solution for band 3 or even band 20 connectivity, please share.

partly true i guess... but anyhow.. flashing ROM won't enable LTE out of the box as we still need to do some settings.. and the key point is.. we have 4G on N910H.. and everybody can do it...
so, my steps are:
- root the device
- use a N910C ROM ( Sweet ROM V5 for N910C (works also for H) in my case)
- install Phone INFO from google playstore
- activate secret code 2263
-> select launch 0
-> select LTE BAND PART1
-> select LTE BAND 8 (900 MHz)
-> menu >> END
and there you have it...

anyway, what i want to try later..
- restore my nandroid backup and try it on stock ROM
- also will try this on other N910C ROMs
i'll try to get myself a 4G sim card later to make it easier...

No worry mate.... i love to do this but well i already dont have the n910h... im waiting for my new device as i changed it with my guarantee... but still trying.....
With the help of @ANaS kojok3I just opened the modem.bin extracted from N910H by notepad and find out that the modem has LTE supported
this is confusing
if the LTE is supported why the option is not there?3Is it possible to flash n910c bootloader on n910h
You can open sboot.bin in the stock by txt and change the value from wnabled to disabled
BUT...I DONT KNOW if that will work
And yes all note 4 have secure boot enabled3
