Has anyone found a solution for the missing hotspot option in the settings, I am on metropcs(for now) so with that being said I have the MLS # and adding dun to the apn didn't help. I am rooted running a MOAR rom, I even tried editing the database file like suggested. Is there a rom that takes care of this or am I selling my new used phone?

Use a custom ROM to get the Hotspot. Go to the Sprint area and search for the Teleteam ROMs. There is a CDMA and GSM version, use the correct for your carrier network.

FYI: You MAY need to do a domestic unlock with octoplus box to get the hotspot.

Thanks, i tried a couple different roms, last night i loaded the Teleteam s8 oreo and that did the trick.
