So, I acquired the factory mode firmware for this device, and I was wondering if there was a way to get the secure check on the boot loader disabled from within it. Honestly, the whole menu is confusing.See the post by el_venga further back on page 5.
No chance, the bootloader is as locked down as any other. So, I acquired the factory mode firmware for this device, and I was wondering if there was a way to get the secure check on the boot loader disabled from within it. Honestly, the whole menu is confusing.

I am still on the APG1. For whatever reason, I can't seem to receive the update to go to AQC4.A revision 1 boot image will not flash on a device with revision 2 firmware using Odin.
It can be force flashed with alternative methods, but may not even boot.
People need to behave and not update for the sake of it. Its either root or update.
Isn't this it?I am still on the APG1. For whatever reason, I can't seem to receive the update to go to AQC4.
Those are just the combination files. Even on official firmware with no root or modifications, it still keeps telling me my software is up to date.Isn't this it?

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer. The reason I'm wanting to update is because im hoping it will fix my imei problem. It got zeroed out after unlocking. Without a backup, I think I'm pretty much done for as far as making and receiving calls and text and data. I tried everything I could find to fix it, but it's looking pretty hopeless. Is the eng boot, so what's your point?
Then I suggest you download the stock update from updato.com and apply the update via odin.I'm sorry, I should have been clearer.
