Does anyone know how to reboot into bootloader on T-Mobile variant? Tried booting into recovery > boot to bootloader and it just reloads the system. Then I tried ADB reboot bootloader and the same thing. I can't seem to get my T-Mobile variant to boot into bootloader!

There is no fastboot mode on Samsungs, if that's what you're referring to. They replace it with Download mode.

But even if there was fastboot mode, there's not much you could do in fastboot anyways, with a locked bootloader

Thank you this worked! I was able to hold vol up and vol down then plug it into PC and it instantly went into Download Mode.

If you're looking to flash firmware, then yes, that has always been done via Download mode, on Samsungs

Thank you this worked! I was able to hold vol up and vol down then plug it into PC and it instantly went into Download Mode.

You can use the adb command: adb reboot download

No. The bootloader does not have to be unlocked to flash between U, U1, and W firmware.

So if I'm only using an esim and I flash to u1 firmware will a back up keep my esim or will I have to contact at&t again

A flash will wipe the eSIM. I have no idea if a backup actually saves the eSIM or actually restore it in a usable way.

I wiped...went from U1 to U...then U to U1 again within hours and my ATT esim, stayed right where it is. The thing is esim has its own spot and unless you tell the OS to erase it. Then it should stay. Unless I've been extremely lucky and haven't ran thru this problem yet.

Unless you specifically live in Canada. Then no, but aside from this model...on mid to lower grade models, flashing W firmware has popped the BL toggle on. But for this device, no.

It's cool with finally having things up to date and such. But if there's one thing....i don't do anymore is update especially from Google. They have some major things brewing..and i mean big. Just a word of caution.
