Verizon has posted the update info for the U variant on the S23 Ultra support page but I haven't been able to pull the update yet. It is imminent though.

EDIT- Live for Verizon U models. Was just able to pull OTA installing now.

I am currently on AWC9 locked firmware for AT&t. Since there is no May security patch for unlocked firmware do I have to wait until that is uploaded in order to keep getting updates from AT&t? Because I was debating on flashing the U1 firmware but mine's pretty much just like an unlocked version except for the boot screen because I have uninstall the bloat apps and other apps not needed using ADB commands. Or if I flashed the unlocked U1 April security patch firmware would that put me on getting my updates through Samsung? I hope I got that correct. Thanks.

AT&T S23 Ultra May patch rolling out live now unlocked

I was going to flash the unlocked firmware on my AT&t S23 Ultra also. Does the Wi-Fi calling still work when you flash the U1 firmware? I know the video calling almost certainly doesn't but I rarely use that anyways. I mainly just want to do it so I don't have the AT&t boot up when I restart my phone. And it's safe to use home-CSC when going from U to U1? They are both matching build numbers. Thanks

Thanks for replying. I had already flashed the U1 firmware and everything went smooth. No more AT&t boot up screen or unthemed software update settings icon.

I flashed the AWC8 without the userdata file and all seems fine so I guess it's not mission critical

U is locked to a carrier, U1 is unlocked from Samsung.

It does it automatically....

Not if you use HOME CSC. Then it doesn't wipe
