Can you tell me where to find that version? I'm assuming that I need to flash it with Odin. Is that right?Be aware that a certain method will not work with every model, even the same model it may work with certain builds only.
Samsung continues update security patches to fix loopholes that people are using to bypass FRP, so when posting a working method, please be specific: what model and build you did bypass successfully.
Since no one has the solution, I search and find this method.
The firmware must be downgraded to PH3. Current firmware is QA4. This is for US firmware; other regions with the same version might not work.
This method use Talk Back to open Chrome, then download Google Account Manager, Quick Shortcut Maker, then ES File Explorer.
You need Samsung and Google accounts to use this method . When TalkBack is ON, double tap to open, use two fingers to roll up and down.

Seems like a very expensive solution for something you can do for zero money. You can buy an SM-T280 on eBay for less.today i got same model tablet in frp and i was trying to remove it from z3x box but it was saying that adb shold be on for this action.....then i was having another dongle for samsung wich is called BST dongle so i treid it on and the frp was gone just a single click
There's is a simpler way to bypass FRP on this device.
No need for a Samsung account or to downgrade account manager.
1. To activate accessibility mode just press HOME key 3 times.
2. Follow the tutorial until Chrome browser is opened and the Galaxy apps site is opened.
3. Type Browser in the search field and download Samsung Internet browser and install it.
4. Open the browser once installed and search for QuickShortcutMaker. Download it.
5. Tap the Bookmark icon top right in the browser, cancel the pop up then select HISTORY then DOWNLOAD HISTORY.
6. Install and run QuickShortcutMaker then follow the rest of the tutorial.
Just downgrade to earlier firmware.Chrome doesnt open anymore due to security reasons. is there any chance to bypass the FRP lock ?
That's correct. Thanks for your quick reply which gives me the hope to fix the problem. With the informations i've found i am now a bit confused and not 100% sure if i am going the right way. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I assume i would need to download the T280XXU0APH3_T280XAR0APH3_HOME.tar.md5 with almost 2GB, then mount it to Odin AP slot, then run it and it is it?

Press HOME button 3 times at the first page of setting to turn TALK BACK or Voice Assistant ON, then watch the video.i guys how are you?
my sons messed around in their tab and my wife forgot wich mail she had created for the tab and now...zip...cant use tab for schooll.
can you guys help me...just flashed to old firm and sttill cant unlock.
If you are able to downgrade to Android 6, then it's not impossible to unlock FRP.I have the SM-T580 tablet and FRP is on. Downloaded android 6.1 (US) and manage to flash it but it did give me an notice about "PIT" but flashed 100% in odin. Tried to follow your video but as soon as I click on Chrome it says for security reasons I can't access it.
It will always be viable because Samsung don't bother updating this device.I'm hoping this method is still viable, the downgrade method. I recently came into some samsung tablets that were crytpo erased but are still frp locked. Hoping to salvage them. I tried a method for auto enabling adb, involved downloading a firmware and then using this tool to remake the firmware which was supposed to 'auto enable adb' didn't work for me. I tried obviously just flashing the firmware and that was successful however, still frp locked. I couldn't find the exact firmware mentioned above. Is there a way to see what firmware i'm on from a locked device? I haven't figured out how myself if there is. Open to any suggestion at this point. Looking over this lot of 30 + tablets

However there is any easier way that doesn't require messing about downgrading.
You will need the combo boot image though or an adb enabled boot image.
After flashing the adb enabled firmware and the device reboots and i plug back into the PC, it just shows up under {Portable Devices} as Galaxy Tab A (2016) I do have the Samsung drivers installed.
Willing and able to give the combo image you are talking about a try if you can point me in the right direction. You will need the combo boot image though or an adb enabled boot image.
I'll come back to you once I've checked.@ashyx Still looking for that combo image. I'm a little apprehensive to download some thing's i've found when looking. Any chance you can suggest one you know works? Thanks in advance.
Have you actually installed the USB/ADB drivers on your PC?@ashyx
I'm starting to think something is wrong with this unit lol.
I flashed the provided boot.img without issue using Odin 3.13
NO errors, flash successful.
It rebooted on its own, debug pop-up did not show.
I read your instructions about booting the device while it was plugged in, gave that a try.
no pop-up. even disconnecting and reconnecting the cable does not illicit the pop-up.
I've made sure i'm trying usb 2.0 ports not 3.0 in case that would be an issue. no joy
I tried win10 ver 1803, 1809, and a a machine with pre-release on it, again, no joy.

I'm wondering If I might need to actually upgrade to a newer build to get this method to work, is that a thing?

That's fine, better to be safe than sorry. No issues here though.Well, I kept it around long enough to wipe my devices, Both Malware Bytes and Defender were screaming about it. I could care less, just don't want any ransomware, as they claim this is a Trojan I let it be removed after I was done using it. Thanks again!
Also on a work computer so I don't want to take any un-necessary risks.
