Has anyone noticed any freezing and stuttering after this update? For me it's like a hole different device. I swipe down to open quick panel and it might open or it might take several several seconds. This also goes for opening apps and switching in between things. When I noticed this I wiped cache that didn't fix it. So I factory reset was working wonderfully all day now back to stuttering.

I know its already been said and Ill confirm that yes you should reflash the firmware with odin. Make sure to use the stock cable all cables are not created equally. I personally order a USB-C to A cable from anker with usb 3.2 gen 2 speeds possible and the cable works great. It took 1 minute and 30 seconds to flash. I did however wipe everything with CSC. If you use home CSC it will keep your data but if there are issues you have to just do a format otherwise it'll keep whatever the problem is. DId you root it or install TWRP you could do that and try other things but I still would recommend reflashing.

I bought a Galaxy Tab S6 LTE in the Emirates, the region is naturally xsg. I want to change to sek Ukraine. Since both regions belong to the OXM Region multi-regional firmware, I inserted the Ukrainian Vodafon SIM card and made a complete reset via the tablet menu. The region has not changed, XGS remains.
What am I doing wrong?
I changed the CsC from XEF France to DBT Germany, through Samkey (and a single credit) even though the WEB indicated that I would need 6 credits

The CsC change does it in 4 or 5 minutes and does not format the device
Of course, you need to have the CsC that you want to leave as active by OTA in the Rom already installed on the device

Those methods of USSD and Flash codes through Odim of a Rom ... do not work, it is wasting time

I use Frija (Odim's wife already knows) to download what is necessary

LTE version SM-T865 _1_20201013190304
AP_T865XXU4BTJ2_CL19479728_QB34983337_REV00_user_l ow_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS10.tar.md5
BL_T865XXU4BTJ2_CL19479728_QB34983337_REV00_user_l ow_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CP_T865XXU4BTJ2_CP17026046_CL19479728_QB34983337_R EV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CSC_OMC_OXM_T865OXM4BTJ2_CL19479728_QB34983337_REV 00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_OMC_OXM_T865OXM4BTJ2_CL19479728_QB3498333 7_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5

HOME_CSC is equivalent to the OTA update does not change data or format anything
CSC resets the device to factory and clears everything

If you are looking to eliminate the traces of an old installation, the best thing is Frija, the "REV00 user low ship" files ensure a clean installation (the option in this case is HOME_CSC)

After installing it is a good thing to erase the Dalvik cache from the recovery, after each update patch, especially if like this one, it is of considerable size and change, it improves the stability and operation of the device

In the same way, it is advisable to review and update the Apk Applications to new versions installed on the device, lest they are old versions not 100% compatible with the OS and give problems
If we have old Apk's that do not update it is not a bad idea, to look for alternatives that adapt to the most modern OS developments, always fleeing from the Apk's loaded with advertising

Actually the opposite is the case after the update everything is very fast, fluid and responsive ... .
No idea what could be the reason ... . You could try to reinstall the FW with Odin. Are you rooted?
m.

Thanks for your reply I figured it out after a couple days it was a package I had disabled. Weirdest thing it was too do with the phone app it had the tablet running wonky. Worked just fine before the update.

Thanks for your reply no not rooted. It was a package I disabled didn't have issues before the update never thought it would be one with the phone app that would mess the hole tablet up but it did.

Just for future note did you use samsung disabler app that kinda gives root power disable but without rooting? I spend a lot of time online helping people and knowing exactly what app and how you disabled helps me help them. Im assuming it was samsung disabler since your not rooted and the phone app.

Yes it is the samsung disabler. And the package that had everything messed up was Dialer Storage.

Why its just a security patch update. The best time to do updates is android version update or oneui system update like 2.5 was other than that nothing new. I was here to say the developer that made twrp had finished a kernel with permissive mode but it probably won't work now. T860XXU3BTI2 source code it works great for me but after 2.5 update I didn't update my firmware again so the source code would match. Otherwise everytime there is a samsung update they release the last monts source now knowing everyone will update.

If you guys are hoping for android 11 oneui 3 it'll be in December or early January I believe so it should be the next one.

Maybe DeX for PC is working now ... ? Have to check that.

I was able to get Dex working on a Windows 10 computer. What I did was install a Windows optional feature for Wireless Display which enabled the computer to be a wireless display target. In Windows All Settings/System, I selected Projecting to this PC and then selected Launch the Connect app to project to this PC. Dex then saw the computer as and available wireless display. Once connected, the computer's keyboard worked, but when using it the Tab S6 display faded (weird). The computer's mouse did not work, but a mouse connected to the Tab S6 did work, but I need to change the mouse speed in Dex.

I could also make the Windows Connect app appear as a window by (alt-tab) and using the computer's mouse to hover at the top of the Windows screen to display the Windows top bar for the Connect app. (Alt-tab) was a big help when using it in windowed mode.

Here's an article about Dex and Windows Connect Wireless Display mode.

How does one use the tablet as a pc screen? It's in the changelog
I guess they lied everyone wants that feature and only the s7 has it. Even though it's in the changelog. Same thing with the s 10 lite it said it had object eraser in the camera in change log and it doesn't. Lol unreal samsung sucks. You have to buy the best and latest model every year to get the updates. Next year they do it again android oneui 4.0 will be on the next tablet and they will give it all the updates than when the s7 gets updated they will leave out all the cool features.

I flashed with Odin normally, booted up to install Magisk Manager, patched the AP file in Magisk and flashed the magisk tar file on Odin(AP), did a factory reset afterwards and all worked out well.

I don't think TWRP works with One UI 3.1, though I haven't tried.

TWRP does work with Android 11 OneUI 3.1 but it's suck painful !!!

Watch out at my other post how I did it and with which version and as explained by Techguy777 You have to keep your Tab S6 hooked to a computer with the USB-C cable if Android 11 OneUI 3.1 is already installed, after you flash TWRP and reboot manually as explained in mentalmuso's thread.

Thanks to them both : Techguy777 and mentalmuso for the tip ! ;)

    read this,
which states may 2021. but plenty of time for further delays. samsung needs to cut the number of devices they make if they can not keep up with the software updates.

Clearly you did not think before posting this reply. Using a local sim in the local country on a LTE device will have zero consequences on charges no matter the CSC. The device supports most of the LTE frequencies and WiFi is either 2.4 or 5.8 GHz as those do not change around the world. Maybe just channel numbers within the band but the band stays the same. The only country's that might be a problem is Korea and USA. Maybe read the specks of the device before making your statements. The only things I might lose is VoLTE witch most of us do not use any way and that has to be supported by your SIM card. I changed CSC to DBT and can say that I have zero problems with my device. It work exactly as it did with the XFA firmware. The only differnce is I get faster updates. And as I do not wait for OTA updates I always keep my devices updated by flashing the new firmware with HOME_CSC. You cannot say it would not work or will have consequences as I can and will say I have done it without any issues. Let the user decide what he wants to do with his device and who are you to tell him or her differently? Even secure apps like banking and pay tv apps works 100% without any issues...... Have a awesome day....

Obviously with your narrow mind you don't know what you are talking about as you only talk about your own case without taking into account the specificities of other countries of which you know nothing, including the frequencies used in your own country, while I was not only talking about LTE...

Because when you mention the XFA CSC, I guess you were talking about South Africa and unless I am mistaken, this country does not use the 700 MHz (B28) and 800 MHz (B20) bands while these bands would still be dedicated to analog TV while at the same time MTM uses the 900 MHz band for both 4G/3G/2G and IOT, which is not the case everywhere in the world...
Because apart from the case of South Korea and the USA, you are also forgetting China, a country with which there have been many problems of compatibility with imported smartphones and in particular with the 800 MHz band, even if this is less true nowadays.

After that, you are certainly lucky to have a mobile operator that doesn't use these frequencies, but that doesn't mean that this is the case everywhere.

Even within Europe there are many disparities/differences even between different operators in the same country...

But I was also thinking about another problem that I personally encountered since for a few months I had a Galaxy A50 and at that time there were no custom roms and I absolutely wanted to have the phone recording function which was not available by default and only available in very few countries.
After having informed me on XDA or other sources, I did the test to install the Indian CSC with a French firmware.

So, yes after this operation the phone recording function was working but the counterpart is that I realized on my phone bill that the phone was sending by itself SMS outside the EU and therefore they became paid... ^^
After having put back a European CSC these problems had disappeared but the phone recording function also obviously.

After many more tries I finally briked the A50 but fortunately I was refunded...

On a second hand I still have my Galaxy Note 9 with which I can find regularly many good custom roms and I don't have to care about this issue anymore !
    Have a awesome day....

Does anyone have a changelog for the latest update that came out a couple of days ago?
    Just flashed it via Odin.

    https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-T865/DBT/doc.html

Settings/Software Update/last Update/link should bring you there too.
