I'm 99% sure this is the same device. Differences are mainly artificial due to the market (maybe due to baseband, but I don't really think so), so they at Huawei/honor created a specific firmware to lock up the customers to the local market.

So the answer is : Yes and NO ! ^^

- No, because the system won't let you do so as default.
- If you do a forced flash you could have strange behavior mainly due the /cust partition ! ^^

- Yes, if you exactly know what you're doing and if you're kinda daredevil. ^^
