Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has an application to test hardware components of the phone. It can be quite useful if you are unsure if your phone is in good condition, even if it is in 'good shape'. To run tests, head on to default calculator application (Asus Calculator). After you have opened the calculator app, just type ".12345+=" and you will be redirected to hardware test application.
It shows you CPU Usage and Battery Level.
The tests include: Touch Test, Bluetooth Test, Wi-Fi Test, Battery Test, ECompass Test, GSensor Test, Modem Test, Keypad Test(to check hardware buttons), Speaker Test, Receiver Test, BoardMic Test, MultiTouch Test, Vibration Test, Wide angled Camera Capture Test, Tele Camera Capture Test, Front Camera Capture Test, Display Test, Headset Test, Headset Mic Test, Headset Key Test, Proximity Test, Light Sensor Test, SD Card Test, SIM Card Test, SIM Card2 Test, Gyroscope Test, Fingerprint Test, Camera Flash Test, Camera Flash Front Test, SIM Signal Test, AC Charging Test, USB Charger Test, Phone Call Test, BoardMic2 Test, Mouse Test. You can also run all tests at once.
Before trying on this, make sure that you do not have any calculations done before and if you have done some calculation, just reopen the calculator app and try typing ".12345+=". I think this is the reason why Asus has chosen this calculator app instead of the Stock Google Calculator but do you think that this justifies the usage of that Calculator application?
This was in older Asus Zenfone 5 as well.
Hope it helps.
Cheers
