alright...and no ota issues right..i should see it and be fine? The unlocked firmware gets updated pretty frequently. Almost on the same schedule as the other carriers.

Like I said, Samsung tries to keep up with other carriers for their unlocked firmware, but don't expect them to push an OTA immediately after one carrier pushes it.sprint got an update today for nav bar giding and lte roaming improvements...ending in QFJ..nothing on unlocked yet unless we have to update manually?
i got you..and i appreciate your work man!Like I said, Samsung tries to keep up with other carriers for their unlocked firmware, but don't expect them to push an OTA immediately after one carrier pushes it.
I was wondering the same exact thing. I tried a few different things but none seemed to give me the results I wanted. I think it possible with root.I followed every step completly and flashed the tmobile version.
How can I know if I have 4x4 mimo and all tmobile features now?
Did you first change your CSC to "VZW", before you followed the "Flashing Standard Firmware" section? You have to follow the "Carrier Switching" section, in order to change your CSC. And if that's not the issue, did you make sure that you flashed the "CSC" file instead of the "HOME_CSC" file in the "CSC" box and flash the "USERDATA" file in the "UMS" box in Odin, in addition to the other required files, if you followed the "Standard Firmware" section. And lastly, if this is a Verizon SIM card from another device, that won't work; you're going to have to follow: https://www.verizonwireless.com/bring-your-own-device/. If none of these suggestions work/help, try flashing the unlocked firmware by following the "Flashing Unlocked Firmware" section and then flash the Verizon "USERDATA" file in the "UMS" box to get access to Verizon features. Two Sprint devices s8+
One flashed to Verizon Rom
Volte seems to not work i just tried it being on call tried surfing internet it stuck on loading until I disconnected call.
eventhough lte icon doesnt disappear as it should if no internet is connected
Can't send texts
I can receive texts and send mms only

Other device yet to test on T-Mobile Rom with Tmo sim
Since my sms has broken and no volte I'll try unlocked version Rom
My devices are sim unlocked, used eBay service...
That is a common question, but no it will not. Knox is tripped only when you unlock the bootloader, root, amd/or flash Unofficial firmware. Will this break Knox?

Did you find the UMS file for ATT? Thats what i was looking for. My CSC is already ATT but im looking to get VoLTE and Wifi Calling without ATT Bloatware. I was going to try just the flashing UMS file and not everything else.http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=6032047A52D711E7963AFA163EE8F90B
that's the one i downloaded. It contains no USERDATA file. Also it's 2.88gb
A better solution might be to flash the XAA unlocked software. That way it's compatible with both carriers.Gonna try this out. I use my Verizon S8+ on T-Mobile mostly, but i go back and forth between SIMs. Thinking i should flash the T-Mobile Version
The "UMS" file is the "USERDATA" file found in the firmware archive. If not present, then your download was corrupted and you would need to re-download it. If already on Unlocked Firmware, flash the "USERDATA" file in the "UMS" box in Odin to get access to carrier-specific features, such as Wifi Calling and VOLTE. I'm pretty sure you still get bloatware, though.Did you find the UMS file for ATT? Thats what i was looking for. To avoid confusion, you're not unlocking your phone's SIM card for use with other carriers when you follow the "Switching Carriers" section; if you want to switch carriers you must first be SIM-card unlocked through your carrier or a third party service. The "Switching Carriers" section only shows how you change the CSC code of your phone, in order to properly flash firmware of your choosing. Your CSC sequence: "TMB/TMB/SPR" is good, as the last three characters are permanently hard-wired onto your phone.Been trying to days to get tmobile firmware working on a sprint unlocked sprint phone. Tried the U and the U1,. It will not for anything register to tmobile network.
it is currently showing TMB/TMB/SPR under about device and CSC = TMB.
How do i revert this thing back to Sprint?? just re-do the carrier unlock section and change it back to SPR from TMB?
This phone was a carrier unlocked Sprint S8+ and was working with tmoble before i tried the flash. I just wanted to flash to get wifi calling since there are some dead spots i visit. Thanks, i will flash it back to spr, hopefully i can get service again. To avoid confusion, you're not unlocking your phone's SIM card for use with other carriers when you follow the "Switching Carriers" section; if you want to switch carriers you must first be SIM-card unlocked through your carrier or a third party service. I have downloaded updato. I downloaded May and June release of USA (ATT) 2x, and each zip contained all the other files but USERDATAThe "UMS" file is the "USERDATA" file found in the firmware archive.
